The one thing about the Shore that seems to happen to all of us – we all seem to suddenly turn into “The Athlete”. Must be something about the salt air, but once we are on that Shore, we all suddenly love our walks, our morning jogs, and our bike rides.
Bike riding is a simple way to pull the family together for a morning. Plan a morning to bike to a local breakfast spot. Once you are finished that large pancake, bacon, and eggs breakfast, jump back on the bikes and bike around the island.
Decide on a destination before you leave, like biking to the local marina, or biking the boardwalk, or even just biking to the end of the island and back. Good way to get a great meal and burn off those morning calories so you can spend the rest of your day relaxing in your beach chair by the ocean.
